Is the second row center too close to sit and enjoy the entire view of Priscilla Queen of the Desert?
Just wondering? Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure you get a great view of the costumes/actors/etc. but do you miss any of the stage picture because of the height of the bus??
Thanks
Yes. The stage is very high. I would go for the front mezz. It starts closer to the stage than most and you get a great view.
The stage is very high. There are some little things you miss and something above the audience you would miss (sorry to be vague but I try not to give too much away). A couple rows back in orchestra or front mezz is best for this show.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the help!
They are absolutely right. I would aim for a few rows back in the orch. I like the orch because you can see more details on the amazing costumes than when you are in the mezz.
I did front row for a lottery and it is waaaayyy too close. You miss a lot and the stage is high.
I saw it row K and thought that view was excellent. There is a lot going on and it's good to be back a little.
I don't know about Priscilla, but when I saw the WSS revival, I sat row G left aisle orchestra, and that is just where the stage begins to be a bit lower than your sightline, great seats if you can get them.
Adding to what has already been posted, the stage is very high.
Recommend at least 6 rows back or more. Enjoy!
I sat second row Orchestra Left on the inside aisle and had a great view. I also saw the show in both London and Toronto and sat a few rows further back for both. The only thing I missed due to the stage height at The Palace was the roadkill. It was a great tradeoff for being so close to the performers. I could see every single false eyelash and the great costume detailing.
Same as everyone. I sat in the 3rd or 4th row a couple times and they were the best seats I ever had! I sat 2nd row once too and it was wayyyy tooo close! The regualr chairs that are all the way to the side of the orchestra are not bad either if you were thinking about those.
Enjoy the show! It is WONDERFUL!
