Professional Internships in NYC?

I am really looking for an internship in NYC for the summer, and maybe for something to do in the fall.
I have called a theatre, but I have to call them again tomorrow. I asked about the internships at Joe's Pub, but I'm still not sure if they are still looking for some. I have looked on such sites as Playbill and the American Wing Seminar site, with no luck.
Any suggestions? Does anyone know of any? Has any one here done an internship?
Thanks for any help!!

Playbill.com is by far the best way to find them. That's how I got my two last year. You can sort by internships. Or know which companies you want to work for and try to get in touch with them. It's a little late to apply for them now for the summer- most of them have hired and are starting soon. Because of my internships last year, I was able to learn more about what I wanted to do and get connections for this year.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, let me know. I know there are a lot of other people on here who have done internships too.

Check out the website for Richard Frankel Productions:
http://www.rfpny.com/
The applications for the fall session are available now, the summer session is already filled.
