I was just about to post about this.

This rocked my face off.

How skinny has Kathy Najimy gotten?

Jenifer Lewis screaming "ObamaNation!" and Maya Rudolph in general just made my day.

Like I said on the OT, I thought it was fun seeing all the people, but I really didn't think it was all that funny.

I agree with Phyllis, maybe if it was a little longer, it seemed very rushed. Jack Black, Maya and NPH were hilarious though, as usual.

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor

"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

It's not just about being funny or entertaining... it's about telling the truth and quickly getting the point across. I imagine they'd want as many people to watch this as possible and the average persons attention span isn't much more than the 3 minutes that the song is. I thought it was brilliant. Sadly, at the end, the "H8ers" only agree to gay marriage being okay when they realize it would be good for the economy... (But that's also probably more realistic)

Something posted to a site called FunnyorDie is just about being funny, particularly since this video is just preaching to the choir.

And no, I don't think someone who lives with a bible shoved up their ass would ever sway on gay issues for economic reasons.

Jack Black plays Jesus Christ and Neil Patrick Harris is a Very Smart Fellow with Katharine "Kooks" Leonard, Seth Morris, Denise "Esi!" Piane, Lucian Piane, Richard Read, Seth Redford, Quinton Strack and Tate Taylor as The Frightened Villagers.

That's hilarious. Seriously? Someone should pay for a 3 minute ad across all networks to have this on tv...

Super Bowl anyone?

I was unimpressed only b/c I know Marc can do much better than this.
It wasn't that funny. And the idea that gays should be allowed to marry b/c of the jobs it would create is slightly offensive and denigrating to the cause.

but anytime I get to see NPH I'm happy, so points for that.

....but the world goes 'round

Very funny.

I wish I could post it as a response to that awful Prop 8 Doubletree hotel video that is STILL PLAYING.

I'm waiting for a call back now from the supervisor for Hilton hotels to ask why they hven't done anything about that one.

But, back on topic...

I LOVE MARC SHAIMAN!!!

*DEAD*

I guess it could've been better, but... NEIL PATRICK HARRIS? Yes, please. I'm always surprised by how tall he is next to other people, because he has such a boyish face. And Jack Black was surprisingly good... I'm already singing the Jesus ditty.
