Anyone else see this as intense bigotry?

I mean, I don't want to sound like I'm defending scientology, but these people are basically going to stand in the street and argue that her religion is inherently and morally wrong. Say what you will about scientology, but anyone is free to practice it who chooses to do so. These guys have no right to tell her to stop. Get these pricks out of here, this is just wrong...

It doesn't matter whether or not you think that Scientology is crazy. The woman is entitled to her religion. People should not attack her at her workplace.

But people aren't attacking her. The are just demonstrating against Scientology, a religion she is associated with. What they are doing is perfectly legal.

They don't argue that. They aren't protesting Scientology as a religion or a worldview. They are protesting the Church of Scientology, which is a corrupt organization that abuses its tax-exempt status and mistreats its members (look beyond the surface of CoS members like Tom Cruise and you'll see some pretty egregious things). The masks/headgear protesters wear are done so out of necessity -- the CoS has a nasty history of harassing anyone it can identify as an "enemy" of the Church.

I do feel bad, though, for the other actors in the production who will have to be around for this. Hopefully they're left alone.
