It's all so ridiculous...
Oh please. I don't agree with scientology, nor do I think Katie Holmes is a great actress, but this group should not be using her Broadway debut as an excuse to protest.
Should be interesting with the scientologists gathering around the corner.
Hmmmmm........ I wonder.
I HATE those Scientology protestors. Every time that I've lottoed In the Heights they have been there screaming and harassing everyone that walks by. Ask them one question about the things that they're screaming though and they won't be able to explain a thing. Attention seekers is what they are.

I was wondering when this was going to happen. Still surprised they haven't hit up A Tale of Two Cities, though James Barbour is nowhere near the fame level of Katie Holmes.
The blurb is slightly misleading, though -- Anonymous doesn't have any "spokespeople," as it's not an organization. It doesn't have leaders. It's a movement.
That guy has provided me loads of entertainment while waiting for ITH.

"The Anonymous group is known for the faceless masks worn by members, and recently picketed the Scientology Centre in New York."
Recently??? Aren't they out there every weekend, if not more?

Good for them, I say, though it's bad if they harass ticket buyers.
Why are they at ITH?
If they don't block traffic or harass Katie, anyone associated with the show, or anyone attending or purchasing a ticket for the show, I don't see anything wrong with the protest. They'll probably end up bringing more attention to the show and maybe even selling some tickets to curious passerbys.
The Scientology Center is directly across the street from ItH.
Hmmm, I guess "V" is anti-Scientology! haha
Well, she is just married to someone who is into that stuff, she never said she supports scientology as far as I know...

And jesse, Scientology hates you back...
Honestly, though I do read into Scientology as an interesting philosophy, not a full blown way of life/ religion, I'll admit, I'm getting pretty sick and tired of them in New York. Not only for their constant sales pitches, but now even more for these protestors. However, with Little Mermaid just down the street, I wonder if Disney won't try and get either the protestors or the origin off their family friendly street.

They're protesting on public property, not blocking the sidewalk or traffic, and non-violent. There is absolutely nothing Disney can do to get rid of them, nor is there anything the police can do.
hahahhahha
you clearly don't know disney
Disney & Rudy Giuliani made an entire street of Porn & Strip Joints disappear.
I guess V and his friends are going to relocate a block south for a while.
when i was getting that photo taken, that guy and his friend were really nice. we chatted with him for a couple of minutes and his friend told us where we could get our own masks, but alas me being a platypus i didn't think that they made them small enough for me.

Poor Katie. Facing those critics and now the protestors. Any bets on who's going to be worse?
"spend money on broooooadwayyyyy not the cult of scientology! you'll get more out of folks ive done both" "CULT ZONE!" "CULT! CULT! CULT! CULT!"
I freaking love those guys. I didn't see them this past week, sadly.

This all seems a bit over the top. I am feeling sorry for Katie.
Anyone else see this as intense bigotry?
I mean, I don't want to sound like I'm defending scientology, but these people are basically going to stand in the street and argue that her religion is inherently and morally wrong. Say what you will about scientology, but anyone is free to practice it who chooses to do so. These guys have no right to tell her to stop. Get these pricks out of here, this is just wrong...
