I'm looking for suggestions of good quartets (2M/2F, tenors and 2 soprano's or alto's,we're both the same voice type). This is for a benefit for some friends of mine to raise money to help pay for their trip to BTP this summer. We are already singing "The New World" from Songs For A New World. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
lemme think...
Poor Child from Lippa Wild Party (though there are some "she's a whore" lyrics - what's the guidelines for content?)
Hear My Song from Songs For A New World (pretty much anything with the entire cast in that show would work since it's comprised of 2M and 2F)
Cantata For A First DAte from I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change
I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change from Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (another show where any all group number works as it's 2M/2F)
There's a quartet in The Secret Garden but I can't remember the name - it's Archie, Neville, Rose & Lily. It might actually be called simply "The Quartet"
Gordo's Law of Genetics from A New Brain - miiight be a quintet
The Kid Inside from Is There Life AFter High School?
You could also make a bunch of chorus/solo numbers work I'm sure - something like Happiness from YOu're a good man, charlie brown wher eyou can just divide solos amongst the four of you...
Hope that helps and that it goes well! :)

Even though it's not exactly a quartet, Heart and Music from A New Brain would probably work well.
Afrter seeing it at the Drama Desk awards, "Madeline" from Jaques Brel Is Alive And Well And Living In Paris came to mind immediately.

"No One Is Alone" from ITW? Though it's a duet for most of it...
'You Can't Stop the Beat' would probably work well.
'Two People in Love' from "Baby" could be adapted as well.
There's a beautiful quintet (3m/2f) version of 'Being Alive' in "Putting it Together", maybe you can adapt it.
'I Turned the Corner/Falling in Love With Someone' from "Thoroughly Modern Millie"
'Prologue' and 'Everybody's Gotta Be Somewhere' from "City of Angels"
'Elegance' from "Hello, Dolly!"
I'm throwing in another vote for Quartet from The Secret Garden. It'd be a really good contrast to the Songs for a New World piece you're doing.
