I dont know, this ques just randomly came up in my head. Anyways:
Are Broadway sets reused or recycled?
and what happens to the costumes when the show closes? Do they go to a warehouse or somin and are those reused or recycled?
Some costumes are rented out i believe..... i could be wrong though
And sometimes set peices are salvaged for tours.

Costumes are usualy sold to a rental company. Sets may also be sold or rented out. When the University of Illinois did COMPANY way back in 1972, they rented the original Broadway set. After they closed, they shipped it to another theatre.
One thing you will NEVER see is scenery from one Broadway production recycled into another new show. The stage carpenters and painters unions have that in their contract - since that would take away work for them.
