Question..........why do people who post here have to get their pictures taken over and over again with their favorite performers??

Hey, everyone. I was in NYC this past weekend and had a blast at The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Flea Market. I'm very tall so I could stand behind the crowd and see when certain celebs were getting their pics taken with the fans and that was very exciting to see.

Question though..........one thing I did notice when I was watching Josh Stickland, John Lloyd Young, Beth L and others getting their picture taken with their fans.........from this board, I recognized the person(s) getting thier pics taken with JS, JLY for the 20th time? On their profiles on the board, you can see all their pics and they have pic after pic after pic of them and JS, JLY, etc......

Sure, I can understand getting your pic taken once or twice with your favorite performer. But, why would you need to get your picture taken with them for the 35th time? Why? I don't understand that. There was one guy, don't remember his screen name, but I recognized him from his pics on his BWW profile. He was in the line to get his pic taken with JLY, when JLY saw him, his face instantly said, "Oh, God. Not him again." Of course, JLY didn't say that, but it was so obvious.........just not obvious enough to the guy wanting his pic taken again with JLY.

So, all of you on this board.........am I missing something? Why would anyone who is sane or rational, need to get their picture taken over and over again, with a stranger?

Think Freud, it always goes back to the sex. It makes them tingly in the down below to stand next to their favorite stars. Why when I had my picture taken with Buck from The City at the Flea Market ten years ago I had to walk away bent over.

re: Question..........why do people who post here have to get their picture

Ive said it before, but I'll mention it here too, I typically shy away from the whole picture and autograph thing. I've done the picture thing with 'notable' people I've worked with, but the only time I've been a repeat offender on that score is if I've wound up becoming friends with someone. In which case it's not the stage door or backstage thing, it's "we're out to dinner and hey! make that funny face again!" thing.

I never understood why people take almost the exact same picture with the same person time and time again when they see them in something (or just show up at the stage door to 'see' them). As for the flea market though, so what? The money's for a good cause. I even shelled out the money to take a picture with Jesse..... mostly because it was for Broadway Cares and I didnt buy anything else (and he's hot as hell, Im not gonna lie lol)

Only reason I can figure for 35 photos is that years from now, s/he wants to be able to say to someone, "Oh yes, __________ and I were an item. See? Here's pictures of us at __________ and ____________. But his career just made it impossible for us to stay together."

Bet you easy money that's it.
