Question!!! someone please answer!!

hello all!
I am new to the whole broadway scene since I am from Canada.
When I last visited NYC, I was told a couple things about broadway, but I forget all the details...so I have a couple of questions...
#1.Someone told me that at the end of August, possible september or maybe even October...All the actors/actresses from The plays sign autographs for the "premiers" or when the plays first begin?
Is this true???/ if so...when and where is it?

#2. I have heard rumours that Kelly Osbourne will be starring in Hairspray...is this true??????
If so, would it be the hairspray in New York or London?

The Kelly Osborne thing has been a rumor for quite some time now. Do a search to find all the posts.

Welcome lilmiss. I'm thinking maybe the autographs you're talking about may be the Show posters that get signed to raise money for Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS. That usually doesn't happen until after Thanksgiving or so. They are usually sold at individual theatres after the show. Good luck!
