Question!!! someone please answer!!

hello all!
I am new to the whole broadway scene since I am from Canada.
When I last visited NYC, I was told a couple things about broadway, but I forget all the details...so I have a couple of questions...
#1.Someone told me that at the end of August, possible september or maybe even October...All the actors/actresses from The plays sign autographs for the "premiers" or when the plays first begin?
Is this true???/ if so...when and where is it?

#2. I have heard rumours that Kelly Osbourne will be starring in Hairspray...is this true??????
If so, would it be the hairspray in New York or London?

See the thread about the Broadway Flea Market. It is an event where many Broadway performers sign things. Or you can do the stage door thing, if you are into that.
As for Osbourne? No. According to Marc Shaiman. A few months ago this rumor was dispelled. Perhaps there is more current news.
