Hi, I'm new here, and I have no idea if this is the right place to post this, but whatever. I have a question for anyone who's been to one of Anthony Rapp's book sigings. If you show up when it starts would you get to meet him, and if not, how early should you show up to be sure you'll get to meet him? Thanks.

You can meet him when he signs your book.

I know, I was just wondering how early you should get there.

Oh, I dunno. He usually stays until everyone gets their book signed.

I find that Anthony really appreciates his fans...more than actors that just say they do.

I went to one last year, and I showed up exactly on time for the reading, not knowing you had to show up two hours early to get a number to get your book signed. I was disappointed, but my friends and I decided to stick around to see what happened. We hung out at the theater for two hours, and he was so gracious, he stayed for every single person. We were the last books he signed, so we made sure to thank him for staying.

So, it is advisable to show up early if you want to leave early, but he'll probably still get to you no matter what.

Anthony is nice enough to pretty much make everyone happy. If you arent there crazy early, that should be okay, because I'm almost positive he'll stay after for a bit, or you'll catch him outside leaving.

He stays for EVERYBODY. What I like about Anthony is he's extremely accomodating but also knows where to draw the line when it comes to the crazies. He's not rude at all, but he clearly doesn't encourage teenybopper behavior, either. It's nice.

Whether or not Anthony enourages it, I like to warn people about the teenybopper behavior that seems to follow the man. I went to his very first book signing last February, and the gobs of (literally) 11- to 13-year old fan girls were enough to ruin the entire experience.

Great, thanks everyone! I'm hopefully going to go, but I have to travel a couple of hours to get there so I needed to know how early I should be there.
