Strickland on the Boards Jan 9 2007, 06:00:29 PM
I agree that we all have a right to express how we feel about a show that we spent a good amount of money on seeing, as long as we back our opinion with facts and reasoning. But I also feel that some people on this board are missing the point Josh was trying to make. He was mainly criticizing the people who make up lies and assume things that they do not know are true for their own personal enjoyment, not the people who honestly and politely give their opinion, whether it be negative or

A woman I saw a few weeks ago had hair that was died half red, half white. Really bizarre. Peretti said, "Mrs. Kornetsky can't wait to get another bottle of red hair dye so she can finish the job!" It was hilarious!

I really, REALLY hope that's not true. I mean, Idina, you were great in RENT once, but it's time to move on.

Yes, mostly. I had some serious complaints about Columbus' choices, but I enjoyed it.

I don't think she's fourteen anymore. She's at least fifteen now, I'm pretty sure.

I was always of the opinion that it is best to take lessons from the same gender and range. That way they really understand how to achieve the sound you want with the range you have.

My friend was in it, and he thought it was fantastic and everyone in it was great as well. (But bear in mind, he was obsessed with HSM since the original airing of the movie on DC and may be biased.)

re: Question about Anthony Rapp book signings Nov 6 2006, 09:34:25 PM
I went to one last year, and I showed up exactly on time for the reading, not knowing you had to show up two hours early to get a number to get your book signed. I was disappointed, but my friends and I decided to stick around to see what happened. We hung out at the theater for two hours, and he was so gracious, he stayed for every single person. We were the last books he signed, so we made sure to thank him for staying. So, it is advisable to show up early if you want to leave early

re: HAIRSPRAY at North Shore.. first ACTUAL photos! Oct 25 2006, 04:08:12 PM
Does anyone else notice how much they photoshopped that picture of Bridie Caroll where she has her hand on her shoulder and she's turning to the camera? Make it full size, and you can see how the skin was all smoothed and how scratchy the places they missed are. Just pointing it out.

re: Adam Pascal concert review Oct 9 2006, 06:11:00 PM
Siamese Dream- I was only at the Boston Show. Yes, I agree, we all do have a bit of a "fangirl" in us. =) I sort of wish he hadn't said it was okay to take pictures, because it was REALLY obnoxious after a while. I didn't even bring a camera because I was sure it wouldn't be allowed.

re: Adam Pascal concert review Oct 9 2006, 05:53:06 PM
I also went to the Wheelock performace, and I admit at being one of those hyper fangirls you were referring to. I always get way overexcited and crazy, but I at least wasn't wearing a RENT shirt. =) I got an autograph and said "Hi, thanks for doing this," during the meet and greet thing. I was about to leave through the doors when I turned around and shouted "I loved the Chorus Line thing!" It was sort of embarrasing, but he laughed. I also noticed the foam RENT sign, that was
