I saw the article on here that they are doing a 54 below web stream to celebrate the shows 20th anniversary. That said, I was wondering, is the show a sung through musical?

The show has been revised numerous times regionally. While the original off-broadway script is most definitely not what's frozen in the licensing, the most recent regional production involving Paul Scott Goodman in St Petersburg, Florida cut virtually all of the dialogue save for some of Jamie's narration.
