Question about Curtains

I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm on break at work so I don't really have time to go through old posts right now.
I was just wondering first, how long Curtains is running (is it just open ended?), and when Jason Danieley and David Hyde Pierce are leaving.
My friend and I are going to nyc in May and I was really hoping to see the show, and Jason and David in particular.
Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

DHP and Jason are both signed through the end of Feb. DHP has already said he wanted to extend, although I don't know how long the extention would be, I suspect 6 months - so May would be a very safe bet for you. I don't know about JD. He seems to be interested in pursuing other avenues. He's missed quite a bit of time from Curtains already to do concerts. I will tell you that I saw the show with Matt Farnsworth (apologies if I mis-spelled his name) in for JD - and he was terrific - nothing was lost on him.
And finally, yes - it is an open-ended run.

Posted: 10/14/07 at 2:03pmThanks for the reply. We're each going to pick two shows, and Curtains was the first one that jumped to mind for me. I can't wait to see it either way. And it's good to see that DHP is going to stick with it for a while.

I also have a question about Curtains. I'm seeing the matinee on Wednesday while I'm home and was wondering if a lot of the actors will come to the stage door? Do most of them stay inside between shows?
Also, if they do come out, what area is the door in? If you're facing the stage, is it better to go out the left or the right doors?
Thanks for any help!

You can only go out to the right when you're facing the stage. Once you get out on 45th, the stage door will be to your left.
Everyone comes out, but if you want any of the ensemble members to sign, you'll have to politely ask them to stop. Most just keep on going!

When I saw the show a few months ago. There were some people at the stage door who did ask memebers of the ensamble to sign. They did and they said that the only reason why they normally continued on is because they assumed no one would want them to sign. They of course were flattered and spent more time sigining chatting and taking photos then anyone else.
I am blanking out on the names. I can picture them though.
