I'm going to be in the city in May! I am SOOOO going to see her. I went to see Bobby Short at the Carlyle a couple of years ago before he passed away and it was a wonderful evening... it cost a fortune tho (a $15 bottle of evian. how sick is that?) Can anyone remind me what the typical weekly schedule is. The only nights I am free are a Wednesday and a Saturday. This is so cool! Also --- does anyone know what's on at the opera in May?

At the Café Carlyle, the shows are at 8:45pm, with an additional show on Saturday night at 10:45pm. There is a $100 over charge, plus your food and beverage charges.

Last time I went, I called for a reservation, but this was 3-4 years ago.
Okay, I guess I will try that.
Thank you!
