Question about Wicked CD

I'm sorry if it was mentioned before, but I just want to ask if the Wicked CD booklet contains the lyrics. Although I do speak and understand English perfectly, it is always much easier for me to follow the lyrics from the booklet, especially in shows that I haven't seen. Thanks in advance for the info

Yes, the lyrics are included for the songs that are on the CD. There is no synopsis. They took great care to cut anything that would reveal major plot twists, so many songs have been trimmed, edited, and in one case, left off the cd entirely. So, the songs on the CD and the lyrics that are included are slightly different that what u hear live at the Gershwin. Still good thou, check it out!

OK I thought I was cracking up. I swore I remembered a song bieng sung by Nessarose that was left off the c.d. thats the one right?

There's a scene/song that they cut called "The Wicked Witch of the East". They felt it contained to many spoilers.

The song "I'm Not That Girl" sounds like it belongs in a Disney cartoon. It's so pretty I love it.

Well that kind of pisses me off. For someone who can't make it to the Gershwin, I feel like I have been cheated. I am sure I will still love it.

Don't worry. Sometimes its better to imagine a show by a soundtrack and be suprised when you see it for real. I spent many years listening to Les Miz and Phantom before I moved to NYC and was so suprised how different they were than I had imagined.

I bought 5 copies today at Virgin for family and friends.... it's listed on the top 20 sellers on amazon.

the recording is amazing and superbly mixed

I was disappointed they didnt put the song that Boq sings to Necessarose before he tries to leave, I remember what it is called. It's a nice melody but they didn't put it on the cd.

Call it a regime change...
