Posted: 5/6/09 at 1:10amAccording to telecharge the last performance of 33 variations is Thursday May 21. I just wanted to verify if this is correct since most shows conclude their run on a Sunday. Also, if it is indeed the last show, does anyone know why it is ending on a Thursday as opposed to going through the weekend and ending on the 24th. Thank you.

Posted: 5/6/09 at 1:11amJane Fonda is participating in a fundraiser in the Galapagos (I believe) and leaves Friday morning. This, as I understand it, was in her contract to begin with, though they just hadn't told anyone.

I am not sure, but perhaps this is due to Jane Fonda's schedule?
By the way, I just checked ILoveNYTheater.com, and they say the closing performance is May 24:

It was announced a day or so ago that it was closing early. Supposedly, they were "trying" to work around it and that's why they waited so long to make the final decision.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
