This show looks hysterical!
Is there any websites were I can find more information?
Did anybody see it in its Off-Broadway run?
Whats your opinion of the show as a whole?
I thought the show was pretty hysterical, but mainly due to the comedic talents of the marvelous Sherie Rene Scott and others in the cast. The book was a tongue-in-check parody of the almost non-existent plot from the movie. The few ballads were nice, and the few comedy numbers were pretty funny. Some of the funny bits stretched on a little long.
Even though it was based on a porno movie, there was nothing pornographic in the musical. Only one brief glimpse of a male butt.
Sounds excellent!
Is the score really raunchy?
I love Sherie Renee Scott with a passion. She has a very natural voice, like each note seems to come with ease for her. May be some day I'll stumble on the cast recording and perhaps buy it. I keep voting for it on Broadwayworldradio just so I can hear some songs.
try this if you haven't already:

Thank you!
no problem! :)
Those pictures are hysterical. I love anything about cheerleaders. Bring It On can make me laugh any day. Cant wait to hear about But I'm Cheerleader!
I just wanted to point out, as a side note, that the Debbie Does Dallas recording is set up to only be played at night -- off-peak times. This is due to the language; I've been gradually earmarking songs with questionable content this way, only because we get occasional complaints.
As an example, there's a guy in California who plays the radio station as background music in his custom framing shop, and he had a customer in one day just as the DDD cheerleaders started into an orgy. He was terribly embarrassed, to say the least!
Oh, I can top that.
I worked in a Radio Shack for several summers, and when my boss had gone and the store was just about empty, I would play showtunes on the display equipment. One evening I was happily listening to the OCR of Parade, and had just reached Jim Conley's testimony when these two black ladies entered the store. They walked over to the stereo wall just as the crowd got to the line, "Lord, another n*!" Perfect timing, that. Just perfect. *sigh*
~Tesse, who spent the next fifteen minutes assuring the ladies that the show was about rednecks, and that I wasn't a Klanner.
