We're headed to N2N sunday matinee. Jst wondering if we will leave the theater feeling uplifted and happy, or will we need to go out for cocktails to lift our spirits?

You're a bit drained from what's taken place plot-wise, but energized/elated by the show itself, and the production closes with a leave-the-theatre satisfied/moved-rather-than-depressed finale.

I actually find the show to leave off on a hopeful note :)
It's definitely a very very emotional show, but I like to compare it to a really good therapy session. You go through all the emotions, and probably feel kind of worn out by the end, but you don't leave the theater feeling SAD. Just like you've been through a rollercoaster ride of an experience haha

I think the ending is certainly hopeful note. I mean they don't skip off into the sunset, but the finale's lyrics are relatively uplifting. The show is definitely darker than most, but there's a lot of dark humor. I've definitely left other shows feeling more bummed out than this one. And as someone else, I was more excited and buzzing about the production itself than focusing on the content. Have a great time! : )
