What are shows that you might have written off at first when you heard about it, but then you saw it and you either came away not hating it, or you didn't love it, but you just appreciated it?

I was skeptical about The SpongeBob SquarePants musical, but then my friend took me to see it and I loved it!

I was also skeptical about Mean Girls, but they really did do a great job (in my opinion!).

Also...okay, I was very quick to judge Slava's Snowshow, but after reading more about it, I might just try to see it. It sounds intriguing and like a real experience.

Be More Chill - I went in expecting to absolutely hate it, but I was pleasantly surprised by it.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

This might seem really dumb in hindsight, but I was baffled by Hamilton. I assumed it was similar to those videos high school history teacher make to get kids to learn history through music (aka embarrassing and forced), but after multiple people had to sit me down and listen to it, then I got it was so much more.

Ah shoot I'm sorry I didn't see that before I started this one!

DoTheDood, that's not dumb at all!
