The original film still holds up and is fantastic. But I wouldn’t mind another film that includes more of the songs and storylines that were cut from the stage show, particularly the Fraulein Schneider/Herr Schultz material.

If they should remake Cabaret they should restore the lost songs, The Pineapple", 'Married" "Misquite" and plot of Herr Schultz and Fraulein Schnieder with Joel Grey and Liza playing the parts.

We deeply need a film version that is close to the 1998 Revival. Alan Cumming and Emma Stone seem obvious/amazing choices.

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

I wouldn’t mind another revival on Broadway that’s goes away from the 1998 staging. I’m ready for a different take on the material.
