That was taken from the Official Rent website by the way. If you already know this, then don't comment and be a bitch about already knowing it.
I'd want to go..but I wouldn't be able to get tickets until around 4 and they'll probably be sold out by then.
it would be great to see the show from a non-front row seat :)
not that i'm complaining about sitting in the front row!
It just would be a nice change ...
So wait, are they selling whatever's currently unsold for $20, or were they just selling the front two rows as first come, first served, rather than the lotto? If it's the former, very cool on their part. A nice thank you to their audiences for 10 years of nutty fandom.
It's for the performance on the day after the OBC Concert.
Just to be clear, those seats are NOT for the 10th Anniversary performance. They are for the actual RENT show on Tuesday. Every seat in the house will be $20 that day only.
There will still be a lottery for the benefit tomorrow.
I knew it wasn't for the benefit (god, people would be hopping on the subway right now to get in line if that was the case!). I still think it's a very nice gesture to have the $20 seats for the actual 10th anniversary performance on Tuesday.
it's a good consolation prize for those of us who lost the OBC lotto
It's not whatevers unsold, its the whole theater nothing will be sold for this performance until Tuesday morning.
