RENT SOUNDTRACK IN MINNESOTA

I have been calling all over and I know it's late to be doing so. Does anybody know where and if the Rent Soundtrack will be in Minnesota today? Any help would be appreciated!!!

Yo...I was just going to ask the same question. All the stores I've called don't have it in...they said it's on order. Barnes and Noble told me the release date is listed as November 8th.

NOVEMBER 8th??? I was going to hunting on my lunch break in DT Minneapolis, but if it's not here yet, then maybe I wont.

Barnes and Noble downtown has it...and they said they only have four copies left.

I guess the CD is coming with 8 different covers.

I'd call the other B & N's around here to hold a copy for you.

Where are you MN guys/gals? Cool!!! Anyway, I am going to be in NYC before then - I want it now!!!! Should I just order it from Amazon.com??? Let me know if you find anything - PLEASE!!!

Aww! Fellow Minnesotans! I ended up pre-ordering it, because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find it. Has anyone checked Borders? They seem to usually be on top of these things.

FOUND ONE AT HAR MAR BARNES AND NOBLE and they seemed to have many copies and all the different covers. I got one put on hold and am going at lunch. Call and get yours on hold!! PRAISE BROADWAY FRIENDS!!!!

Also getting "Son of a Witch: A Novel"!!!! GREAT DAY!

Downtown Sam Goody has 4 "on order".
After my purchase, Barnes & Noble downtown is out. The woman there said they went like hotcakes. If there's a "Joe" on here - you got the last Mimi cover... :) I almost slipped her a $20 for it.

I work/live in Minneapolis. Where are the rest of you?

I live in St. Paul...but am going to school about 2 hours away. I am SO HAPPY to hear they went fast, though. That sounds very, very good!

Me too work/live in Minneapolis.

The lady at B&N downtown said (by the time I got there around 10:30) that people were trying to get her to give up the ones that were on hold. Ah...us RENTheads...willing to go the extra mile, right??? =)

There were a bunch at the B&N at ridgedale, and also target is getting theirs tomarow, i have poeple there. I got the only mark and angel they had at the B&N hehe

Barnes and Noble's is pretty much the only place in ny (outside of NYC) to get it too.

Yes, their computer SAYS 11/8, but the nicest guy was working today and looked through the boxes and found it for me. they may have it and not realize.

I got mine at the Best Buy in Richfield.

There were only two copies left.
