Join us for this special preview screening of the new film version of Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning rock opera, directed by Chris Columbus, followed by a Q&A and post-show wine and dessert reception with actor Anthony Rapp. Proceeds will benefit Interlochen’s new program in Motion Picture Arts.

Tickets:
$80 includes post-show reception with Anthony Rapp ($50 tax-deductible)
$60 screening only ($50 tax-deductible)

I love the way that reads -- post show reception with Anthony Rapp. It just makes it sound like he's going to anchor the entire party by himself. It's one thing when you have a party with the cast of someting, but that's a lot of attention for one person!

I would LOVE to go to this but A) I don't have that much money to spend on a movie ticket, and B) I'm seeing 700 Sundays that day. ah well...

I live in Chicago but I'm not convinced that this is a great event for a great cause. Why is this charity so important?

I live in Minneapolis, which is only like 8 hour drive away.... I would be making the drive if I didn't have to take the damn Praxis examination for my teaching license that day. Blasted Praxis.

Just bought my tickets - Interlochen is such a great facility - so many of the kids I grew up with (and who were much more talented than I) spent their summers there. Oddly, they all grew up to be brain surgeons, real estate magnates and the like! But it's a good deduction and, hopefully, will be a GREAT movie. Plus, well, dessert.
