While I like Jesse, Mark Ford's Collins is light years beyond him in interpretation and voice.

JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

I'll have to take your word for it, Silent, since I never saw Ford. He must have been great, though, to be considered better than Martin.

i absolutely LOVED cary shields as roger.. he has an amazing voice and is just perfect for the role.

Anyone know where I could find clips of Cary Shields as Roger? I've been looking around but can't seem to come up with anything.

I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart. -Scrubs

I'm not sure why, but I've always been real partial to the OBC... probably because I listen to them whenever I listen to the RENT cd(all the time) and their voices are imprinted in my head. Plus I'm a sucker for Adam, Anthony, and Idina...

I'll let you know when I see/hear another cast though, if it changes. But I always am a big fan of OBCs because they make that character what it is and you can't truly compare anyone to them. The only way you could is if you give them both the same song at the same time, make them work separate, and then perform them.

Yeah the OBC's voices have been implanted into my head after countless times of listening to the cast recording. Its hard for me to imagine anyone else in the role at this point which is why I need to find myself some clips of other casts so I dont get too biased. :-P
