Is NYC the only place to pick up ShowPeople?

The website says "New York City area" so technically no, but it's not available nationwide.

*blinks, stares, gawks, gasps, stares more* Adam is WET! Wow...my mind just went in all kind of good naughty places there.

And they referred to Anthony as Adam Rapp...I half expected to see his brother down there, chatting with Tracie.

So yeah, the Collins/Angel pic is mucho love.

I am amazed...

1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

Haha yeah, when I read Adam Rapp I was excpecting to see Chris and Tracie talking to his brother and I was so confused. :-P My poor brain can't handle mind games that late at night. Anyways, curses, foiled by living across the country AGAIN! :-/ Someone want to mail me a copy? *puppydog eyes*

Wait, so does that verify that Seasons of Love will be during th opening credits?

"'...When we were on stage doing "Seasons of Love."' That scene, to be played over the opening credits..."

That's as close to a verification you're going to get until the movie comes out.

I thought there were two Seasons of Love in the movie... Hmm.

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

Do you think that I will be able to pick up this copy of Show People when I come in to the city in early to mid November? Will there still be copies around?

Or, does anyone know of a place to get it in Jersey?

Does anyone know if this magazine can be ordered online for those of us that unfortunately don't live in the New York City area?

Also, who is on the cover of the issue of Show People magazine that features this great Rent movie article? Updated On: 9/23/05 at 09:54 PM

It's been said that the "staging" of SOL is weird. ...but if it's really at the beginning it may have the feeling of being a symbolic acknowledgement that RENT's going from a stage production to a movie. Sort of a bridge between the two, you know?

EDIT: never mind. My oh-so-brilliant realization is actually written into the article that I'm only just now reading. I still like the sentiment though :)

Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.
