I bet Julia rocked the top off the Fox!

More than anyone I've seen... anywhere. I can't say enough about her.

RentBoy- Did you stage door it?

Thanks fot your review. Glad you had a decent time. Was wondering how you liked the duet with Diana & Cleavant in Streetsinger? I heard they sound really good together.

I actually saw it twice in Denver when it premiered here before going to broadway. I enjoyed it. But it played in a very small theatre here and I think that had something to do with it. I would have purchased the OBCR had they not done it live. It was not the best show, but it was entertaining.

uncageg: The CD is actually "live" in the sense that they recorded it during an actual show. Instead, they invited people to a recording session done in the studio and just taped their reactions. At least this is what I heard from reading this board.

The duet between Brooklyn and Streetsinger was great. It was a definite standout. People were cheering and clapping throughout the entire number. I really enjoyed it. If felt like it should have the end of the show because of the energy, etc.

No, I didn't stage door it. I don't really ever stage door because then I feel too much like a fangirl. It's sorta strange, but I just prefer to see the people. Like just seeing Diana (I was only a couple rows away) was good enough for me. I saw a bunch of people out by the stage door, but by the time i turned around and came back by it seems like everyone was gone. I'm not sure if everyone came out or what. I was trying to figure out which hotel they stayed at because there are so many beautiful ones around the theater.

Oh. You were talking about stage dooring it so I thought you might have. Only I can just imagine the scene with Diana in the show. Hundreds of 11 year old girls screaming. Fun stuff.

Yeah, there were quite a bit, though they kept to the balcony. A lot of the people who stage doored (I had to walk by to get to my car) seemed to be hardcore fans of the show rather than Diana fans.
