He actually did tackle Broadway once in 1980 with a play he co-wrote with Jerry Belson called The Roast. It was a huge flop!

We sat near him at a performance of Wrong Turn at Lungfish. I don't recall much about the play (George C. Scott in a hospital) but it was fun watching him watch the show.
