Saw this in my local paper:

Joseph P. Patria Jr died Tuesday at age 86. He worked on more than 100 Broadway shows including “Annie,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Miss Saigon,” “Les Miserables,” “Riverdance,” “The Tap Dance Kid,” and “The Producers.” He also gave many stagehands their start in the industry.

He was mentioned and thanked on the Tony Awards in 2001 for his work on “The Producers.” Patria was responsible for the loading in of all equipment, backdrops and scenery for ''The Producers.''

When the show’s scenic designer Robin Wagner accepted his Tony, he thanked the men who loaded that show.

“It never could have happened without Joe Patria,” he said.
