The wonderful Scott Sowers has passed away at age 54 on Easter morning of a heart attack. His many contributions to the theatre community include co-founding the Signature Theatre Company in 1991. He is perhaps best known for his critically-praised performance as Stanley Kowalski in 2004's revival of A Streetcar Named Desire. Additional Broadway credits include Will Masters in Bus Stop in 1996 and Inherit The Wind in 2007.

Scott Sowers didn't play Stanley Kowalski in that 2005 Broadway production - John C. Reilly did.
Scott played Steve Hubbell, one of Stanley's poker playing buddies.
