What a lovely woman. If you have never seen her rent Best Years of Our Lives, Little Foxes, Mrs. Miniver or Pride of the Yankees.

Sueleen, "lovely" is the perfect word to describe Ms. Wright.

I watched "Shadow of a Doubt" again a few weeks ago. A perfect performance. Nothing flashy or "movie-star" about Ms. Wright as an actress - she just radiated intelligence and decency and goodness (without being sugary sweet).

I was very sorry to read of the death of Teresa Wright. A really wonderful actress and a rare and intelligent human being. Rest in peace!

I agree with NCGuy. Taught "Shadow of a Doubt" a couple of weeks ago and was reminded of what a great performance Wright gave. She proved that "ingenue" and "intelligent" could go together in that role. I also loved seeing her in "Morning's at Seven."

I loved her in Pride of the Yankees... and she also had a small role in one of my favorite films, Somewhere in Time.

My sympathies to her family and friends.

She was a great actress, from Mary in "I remember Mama" to "The best years of our lives" she'll be missed.

TCM will probably do a tribut to her, so watch for that, it should be sometime this week, probably about 4 movies of hers will be shown.
