I miss Roma's reviews. On Stage no longer provides critical reviews. It's so sad. Have to say that I was loyal to Time Warner Cable all these years because of NY1 News / Roma Torre / On Stage (With host Donna Karger). Now I will entertain the next best FIOS deal.

I am still pissed that Sue Simmons got such a raw deal. She was fabulous.

It's aggravating and tiresome that this still goes on, but of course it does. Just look at the photo above: five confident women with experience, authority and ability. It is such a stark contrast to the inexperienced young women who are in TV news at the local and national level, clad in stiletto pumps and skintight dresses exposing cleavage, arms and legs....it's the babe-alicious factor. The young women put up with it to get ahead and the older women are treated as if they have no choice in the matter.

I hope these five women succeed in shaking things up. More women at the senior management level, though, is really the only way to stop this crap.

I am a bit confused because I see Roma on NY1 all of the time and she does theatre reviews for On Stage. She must not have as much air time as she used to.
