I know there are a 1000 threads on this but i couldn't find just what i needed and current info. never hurts. I am going to do a student rush for this wed. mat. I want to do it for Cry Baby, Xanadu, South Pacific or A Chorus LIne.
Where are the seats located for each show?
What is easy to get what is hard?
I was also thinking of a lottery. How is In the Heights on a Wed. Mat?

Cry-Baby, I believe is first row.
When I rushed ACL, the seats were on the extreme sides of the orchestra. So, they are obstructed. I think I was in row E or something.
Don't even bother with South Pacific. I think they've suspended rush for the time being.

Xanadu is based on availability, no specific location. Cry baby is front row, South Pacific hasnt had rush in ages since its sold out, and A Chorus Line is from what I've read sides of orch (or when I went it was a box)
Cry Baby and A Chorus Line we're easy to get, never tried Xanadu. And as I said South Pacific=not gonna happen
I've never done ITH lotto on a Wed but Tue and Thur there were 50-60 people

I haven't heard much about how difficult Xanadu rush is. Anyone care to post any feedback? Easy? Difficult?

ACL is really easy to get and the seats are usually good.
Last time I rushed Xanadu (3 weeks ago?) I got there around 12:30 for the matinee and got a stage seat.

there's no rush for South Pacific, but there is a cancellation line, where you'd pay full price for the tickets.
in the future, there's a great page on Playbill all about rush.
