They announced a June 13 closing weeks ago...

Wasn't it a limited run through June 13th from the start?

It was originally supposed to run through mid-March, and then was extended to June 13th. It wasn't advertised as a limited run, though, until the June 13th closing was announced.

I work at the Barrymore and this is what I know. The 3 stars have contracts until June 13th. If it got HUGE ticket sales, they were going to be replaced-but that was only if it was HUGELY popular, not just mildly popular....and it isn't even mildly popular.
