I don't really feel that Norm -- usually -- reads much younger than Stokes, if that's the concern.

I thought Alton White made an excellent Coalhouse. During the original run, I always wanted Norm Lewis to play the role.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kenita Miller as Sarah. I did the show with her and she Blows that part away.

Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

Kenitia Miller was an awesome Sarah. Also, I thought that the guy who played Coal House at the Paper Mill Playhouse production was very good, though a lot of people don't like him. I am very interested in Anika as Sarah and I think that she is perfect for it. I really hope that Mary Bond Davis will play Sarah's friend, she is fierce on the Toronto recording. I would also be interested in seeing Heather Headley as Sarah.

If I'm not mistaken Heather Headley was Audra's understudy in Toronto's pre Broadway run before she got Nala in Lion King. I'd be kind of intrigued to see her Sarah. I've heard both Kenita Miller and Quentin Darrington were wonderful at Papermill and the Networks tour although I didn't see them. I saw Alton on the 1st Nat. tour and he was good, but he didn't command the role the way Stokes did IMHO. I hear Lawrence Hamilton does a great Coalhouse. Anyone seen/heard of him? I believe he did it in London for a while, but I could be wrong.

Does Audra have no interest? I haven't heard her mentioned. But I would be more than happy with Stokes and Anika.

I think Audra's too busy. She's doing The City of Mahagony(sp) in LA till early March, then I think she goes into rehearsals for 110.

Buffy, RAGTIME isn't being done at NYCO until April, 2008 - more than a year away.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
