On Broadway, When or about when did James Stovall play Coalhouse and Booker T. Washington? Who did he replace? Or am I mistaken, was he an u/s or something?

I wasn't aware he was ever in the cast. He's not listed on IBDB. He's a great actor though.

James Stovall played Booker T. Washington in the Chicago cast of Ragtime.
