Posted: 9/6/08 at 8:40pmIt just occurred to me while rewatching Mean Girls, Amy Poehler could quite possibly make the best Glinda ever for comedic performance at least, aside from Kendra of course, and if she had a soprano voice. ...I'm pretty sure she doesn't though... ha!

First off... there is NO 'tentative' movie in the works for WICKED: The Musical.
Secondly, at 37, Amy Poehler can still pull-off Glinda, but her approach to her material stems firmly into comedy. Though she CAN sing, her range is limited and not anywhere near the requirements for Glinda.
