I have the actual Decca Parade CD in front of me, but it is still sealed (I haven't got a chance to open it yet), but I can't tell from the outer packaging if it is in mono or stereo.
But I'm thinking if the Arkiv release is the mono release, then the Decca CD might be mono too. Doesn't Arkiv mostly just re-print stuff? It's only recently where they have released stuff never before released on a digital CD format, but I always assumed that for their older CD-R stuff, they just copied whatever the record companies gave them.
Then again, some of the Arkiv web page info seems a little funny sometimes.
If I get the nerve to open the Parade CD in the next day or so, I'll give it a whirl and let you know.
Sorry to thread-jack again, but I also found out that Parade is on iTunes also (it's sometimes amazing what I can find on iTunes while typing in random musical titles. I have found both the Dutch cast of Annie, and the 2001 Barcelona cast of A Little Night Music on the iTunes US site!).
Here's the link if you want to check it out.
