Which Sallys did he play opposite when he was The Emcee in Cabaret? I googled and came up with Brooke Shields, Gina Gershon and Molly Ringwald. Am I missing anyone? Also, which role was he going to play in Assassins before it was cancelled? Thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's correct, unless you also want to include understudies. And he was going to play Zangara.

I thought he was set to play Booth? Oh well I shall not question the great Emcee on Mr. Esparza:)

nope, it was definitely Zangara. If I'm not mistaken, Douglas Sills was supposed to have played Booth.

He was set to play Zangara when Assassins was originally slated to open at the Music Box.

The production (which was supposed to start previews VERY soon after 9/11) was scrapped.

Maybe he was up for Booth at one point? I dunno, I've never heard that before, but I'm certainly not the end-all authority.
