I'm so surprised at the amount of people that aren't familiar with the movie, and I don't just mean here. A lot of people I've mentioned it to over the past couple of months know nothing about it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. I guess, because it's my favorite, I assume everyone knows of it, has seen it and loves it just like me.

When it first was announced for London, I was so jealous. Then when it was announced for Broadway, I was ecstatic. Now the Raul announcement is icing on the cake!

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

This is fantastic. This means we'll get to hear him sing "Hushabye Mountain." I'm thrilled, even though I do love Michael Ball.....:) GO RAUL!

Well, looks like I should wait on my NYC trip:)

I have never seen the movie either, so I wasnt too excited for the show but now I cant wait! Raul is my one of my favorite actors on Broadway. And I have no doubt in my mind he will be able to pull off the part. He is so versitile and I think he could play any part and not only make you belive that he is that character, but have you mesmorized for 2 hours while he performs the role.

Officially registering my grievance - sulk, sulk

I had hoped that Michael Ball would have reprised the role on Broadway - he was perfect in the original West End production - but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I will see the show again when it comes to Broadway because I had great memories of it ( I saw it several times at the Lonodn Palladium)

And the best of luck to the Broadway production and to the new CHITTY cast - Raul, Erin, Marc and the rest !

Yeah, he seemed very stern on the fact he wasn't going to do it. I wanted it for him so bad, too. I really think he would have been perfect.

I am glad it is finally cast. I hope all goes well. I would have liked Michael Ball to be in it but I wish Raul the best of luck. But like Rob said, bring the man over in something. Alone Together might just be the perfect vehicle to showcase his voice.
