Razzies 2022 - Diana Wins, DEH Fails

The Razzies for 2022 are out and Diana was the big winner with 5 wins:

Worst Picture - somehow beating out Space Jam 2 - and 3 other films I'm not sure I heard of

Worst Actress: Jeanna de Waal - which probably isn't fair, but I didn't see the others, and whatever failings Diana has, Ms. de Waal isn't one of them, in my opinion.

Worst Supporting Actress: Judy Kaye, besting her screenmate Erin Davie and Amy Adams (DEH) -- 

Worst Director: Christopher Ashley

Worst Screenplay: Joe DiPietro

But, the wave couldn't score a win for Worst on Screen Couple; Gareth Keegan (Hewitt and others), and Roe Hartrampf (Charles).

Meanwhile, Dear Evan Hansen was shut out: Ben Platt lost to Lebron James for Worst Actor; Amy Adams lost to Ms. Kaye; Ben Platt and anybody else lost for Worst On Screen Couple again to LeBron James; Stephen Chbosky lost Worst Director despite, reportedly, doing his best/worst;

What began as perhaps a novel alternative to the Oscars, the Razzies have devolved into picking the lowest hanging fruit as their “honorees,” with what seem like personalized vendettas against certain performers. I have no issue with the award in theory, but they can do better than ragging on the same 3 movies. 
 

(Also, like, Diana isn’t really even a movie, so these awards feel particularly pointed.)
