ReSelling/Cancelling/ReScheduling Shows?

Hi All,

Looking for your advice. Life gets in the way sometimes and it looks like I won't be able to travel on my upcoming trip I have some shows booked and was wondering what's the best route.

I have these shows booked.

Oklahoma Telecharge

Hugh Jackman Ticketmaster

Moulin Rouge Ticketmaster

Tootsie Ticketmaster

The Cher Show Ticketmaster

I have never resold tickets before.

What route would you take? I don't think I can sell via verified resale because I don't live in America and don't have an american bank account.

Should I enquire maybe to reschedule to Decemeber?

Ideally the money back would be the best and I can book then if I get new plans which currently there are none.

It's a month away to the shows so should I make a move now or closer? And any advice between interacting with the two different companies?

Thanks

Depends how life got in the way. If you had some life event that would merit sympathy, then you might be able to get some refunds. Otherwise, it is mainly going to be exchanges to a future date.

Telecharge is typically easier. For Ticketmaster, the best bet is to go online, get your order details on the screen, and then click the Live Chat button on that screen, which should put you in touch with their arts line, who will be friendlier about such things. If you get the concert/sports line, they will be less friendly.

Not sure if StubHub is an option? Or can you not sell tickets on either platform?

Thanks Haterobics Sadly it’s an unwell parent going for major surgery and I’ll be called upon to care.

i will try the suggestions.

i think I changed dates with telecharge before and in UK ATG and Delfont generally aren’t a problem.

The main worry was Tickermaster as they haven’t a great reputation this side of the Atlantic

Also as Jackman is a concert I can’t change dates, hopefully they’d refund if it’s busy.

ive never sold tickets and it’s not something I’m comfortable with as it makes me nervous,

Try and see how many refunds you can get from telecharge or Ticketmaster. Don’t worry about reselling, it’s better to try and sell them to lose out entirely. I was weary of stubhub at first, but I’ve sold 3 times and it was fine. Even without an American account, I think you can accept payment with PayPal.

I don't think Ticketmaster has a good customer service reputation anywhere.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago, when my husband injured his back and couldn't travel. Telecharge is far more gracious in such circumstances. If I recall correctly, I managed to get a refund on all of the tickets we'd bought. For some, I contacted the theatre directly and they were very nice about it.
