I don't know the answer to this and people have asked me. I'll refer it here to the experts. I'm not in a union, but do the union members get free or discounted tickets for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows? And if so, how does it work? Can a member of Equity or SSDC, IATSE, Local 802 etc get in to a popular show? Just curious.

I vaguely remember the Equity ofc being able to get tkts to some ( not all) shows @ a discount but not aware of the details.( hadda show yr card or some such)

I think in Chicago the Union receives discounts and free tickets to the tours. I know they receive discounts and free tickets to local productions.

Wow, like five days old, but I'm curious, does anyone know? I actually don't know the official policy. Anyone?
