but i'm still shocked that the dude from the mighty ducks 2&3 movies played steve at the life support meetings. he sings pretty good!

Aaron Lohr was in the mighty ducks but I don't think that is who they are talking about. Aaron played Steve (and is currently being fabulous taking his shirt off in "See What I Wanna See" right now)
Seriously, it was a loss to the Rent movie that he didn't take his shirt off at some point.
Now what would you say if today I started over?

Ah, okay. The guy who plays Gordon (I think) looks like that kid who played Charlie, though. My dad thought it was him, and I had to keep telling him it wasn't.
It is sad that Aaron doesn't remove his shirt.

Aaron Lohr's voice is QUITE awesome. 
I believe you're thinking of Joshua Jackson, Em...
However, for people looking for similar connections... in "La Vie Boheme", Kevin Stea is one of the bohemians. He was in Newsies with Aaron Lohr, and they both appear in the funeral "I'll Cover You (reprise)" scene.

he was also Mush in Newsies and Mickey Dolenz in the Monkees movie for VH1
Wayne Wilcox who was Marty on Gilmore Girls was Gordon. he was good, but I dont remember him on tv. I must have skipped that season

No no, the kid who played Charlie is Joshua Jackson - he was the one in Dawson's Creek and a plethora of films. The guy who played Steve ....he was one of the "bash brothers" in Mighty Ducks 2&3 --- the tough kid who wore a leather jacket. He looks a LOT older now. When I saw Rent at the Symphony Space...as soon as I saw him I was like "wow he looks familiar" ...and when I got home I imdb'd him.

Hmmm. This is rapidly turning in to an Aaron Lohr love-thread. Not that I'm complaining. I was SO SO happy that I had the chance to catch SWIWS last month.
lol... And sports movies? All sorts of attention!
... actually, I only saw the Mighty Ducks movies because of babysitting throughout high school. The kids I sat for LOVED those things. I tried to use the Aaron Lohr connection to introduce them to Newsies, but they weren't interested.

That was SWIFTY from Newsies?!? WOW. I didn't even realize! WOW. I need to get back to the movies right now so I can actually pay attention to him. wow.
And since we're mentioning what Aaron can currently be seen doing...Wayne Wilcox can currently be seen as Duke in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, which is sadly closing this Sunday.

YUP. And I won't deny that I had a small Newsies fan moment during "I'll Cover You (reprise)" due to the connection... granted, I was a little busy crying at the time, but it was there.

I just saw See What I Wanna See last week and when Aaron took his shirt off I think I may have audibly said Wow. Nice body, but more importantly, great voice.
FYI: Wayne Wilcox was only on Gilmore Girls as a guest star. But he was cute.

Wayne Wilcox was the best thing about the Rent movie -- hands down.
The reality show star that is in the Rent movie is:

Wayne Wilcox was in the pre-broadway (Chicago-Goodman for sure) run of Light in the Piazza, Fabrizio to Celia Keenan-Bolger's Clara....
He's hot.
and who is that guy with the crazy hair in the La Vie Boheme scene??? He looks so familiar and I can't place him!

Wayne Wilcox played Marty in several episodes of Gilmore Girls. Rory's friend at Yale. I talked to my friend after she saw it and asked if it was Kirk Cameron. Umm... no.
The first time I heard of Aaron was when I saw SWIWS (I'm not a mighty ducks girl). I was so surprised and excited to see him in the RENT movie. He was amazing in both.

grr. blake was such a jerk in so you think you can dance, like when they found the magazine he was on the cover of, and he was a complete jerk to the Dan teacher guy. (who's kid is he, he mentioned his parents were/are Broadway related)
Aaron Lohr is really hot in Bare, like at the rave when he picks up Jenna!
