I'm curious to see if more DC tour traffic goes to the Warner Theatre or National Theater to avoid the $#%^#! Kennedy Center!

I don't know if concern is too strong a word... I support and respect the decision to remove gender identifiers from performance categories to be all-inclusive, however, in doing so only half of the amount of artists are being recognized. As two categories were combined into one, why not award the top two winners? I know it may be two of the same gender in a category, but at least the number of recipients would be the same.

I just saw an older video the other day of Celia Rose Gooding, Antonio Cipriano, and Renee Rapp singing together and thought they would be great in a revival!!

I saw the film Monday, and overall feel like it was very well done, however one specific issue is still bugging me... In the first film, Glinda has so many clothes that there is little room for Elphaba in their room at Shiz... Now she is a woman of the people and comes to every public appearance in the same dress?!? It makes no sense.

I saw the show on Friday, 11/26. We had Steve Haggard on for James Snyder's Harry Potter. I found him to be brilliant in the role. He had great chemistry with both Albus and Ginny. I did not see the show in it's previous incarnation, but feel that it is cohesive as a one evening event, and it really is an event! Aida with an historically accurate cast... nobody had blond hair and blue eyes in Egypt! I would love to hear the orchestrations get retreated as well to really musically define Nubia and Egypt.

I just noticed this while I was nosing around for intell on Moulin Rouge:"The stage musical features many of the iconic songs from the movie and also includes recent hits released since the movie premiered 15 years ago."Does anyone know from the workshop or other sources what songs may be added to the show that weren't in the film?

Carrie and Aida are tops on my list as well, but both need work...Aida is set in Egypt! Nobody looked like Sherie Renee Scott in ancient Egypt... just as nobody looked like Heather Headley in Anetevka, yet that has never been an issue to cast or depict the class differences in the plot.
