So, I am heading out of town to see a show here soon, and I started looking at tickets. I know this show and some of the people on it fairly well, so I am interested in paying more than I usually do for a ticket. However, we all know that Ticketmaster fees are a little ridiculous (I think I was looking at about $30 in fees for this one ticket?) and I don't believe I will be in the city anytime before I want to see the show.
So, my question is this: how are the fees for phoning in a ticket purchase to the box office? Is it the same as online?
I feel a little ridiculous for asking, but even after about 150+ shows, I don't think I have ever called in a ticket order...
Unfortunately the fees are the same as buying online (you would still be buying through a company like Telecharge or Ticketmaster, not the box office).

The box offices in NYC do not have public phone lines, so you would actually just be calling Ticketmaster or Telecharge and paying the same thing you would have paid online.
Yes, the only way to utilize a theaters box office is in person.

It's not an NYC theatre (and not the answer I was hoping for, though it was the one I expected). Thanks, all!
