I've got seats in the first row of the rear mezzanine for a performance of Motown: The Musical. I splurged on front row for Phantom because I wanted to see that the most. I was just wondering if anyone knew what this view was going to be like.
I sat there for MOTOWN. 3rd seat from the left in the center section and the view was perfect.
Terrible legroom. I saw The Little Mermaid from the rear mezzanine; I was probably around 5'6" at the time (if not shorter) and was VERY uncomfortable. I was with a group, and some of the taller people really had problems.
If it's on the aisle, that's one thing, but it's something to consider.
I haven't seen Motown yet but I sat around there for Ghost and the view was great!

I sat up there for Mermaid, bad leg room, good view, Motown was really bad. Thank goddess I had standing room and could leave the area during the dialogue. there is a reason it didn't get many nods.

The seats are on the aisle. I'm about 5'2" or 5'3" at the tallest, and my brother who is coming with me is about 5'10". If he sat on the aisle seat, would he be a little more comfortable?
As for it being bad, I'm sure I'll enjoy it no matter what :) I love everything about Motown and I think it's going to be exciting to watch.
I sat last row Mezz for Little Mermaid and Ghost. Its not too bad at all, I'm 6'2' and didn't notice the leg room situation (but I'm always wanting more at every theatre). An aisle seat will be great for your brother so he can stretch out his legs if he needs. Prepare yourself to hear all the Motown hits you love and don't expect much from the book...you'll have fun.
