In the latest edition of "Diva Talk", Rebecca Luker claims she's working on a new Broadway project and that the cast will be announced very soon...

What does everybody think?

LES MIZ isn't exactly a "new" Broadway project....plus I don't see a role for Luker in that. She could have played Cosette 15 years ago.

True, but what else could it be? I really love Rebecca Luker, hence my curiosity.

And I should have been clearer, she didn't exactly specify a "new" project, just a project.

If this is totally off, forgive me, but can anyone else see her as Mrs. Banks in "Mary Poppins"?

Sure seems like a reasonable fit to me. I wonder if that could be what she's talking about.

It was done as best it could be by Linzi Hately but sadly this role in a tad underwritten. Yeah there is a fair bit of singing in numbers like "Spoonful of Sugar" but her "big" number kinda goes nowhere. You keep waiting for "Being Mrs Banks" to take off but its never given as much time as George Banks gets.

BobbyBubby, Indian Blood is her next role. But she said in the interview she would be doing that, but she also had a BROADWAY show coming up.
