Recent Reading of CATCH ME IF YOU CAN?

I just read on a performer's blog that a reading of CATCH ME IF YOU can was held last month that apparently featured Aaron Tveit as Frank Abagnale Jr, Tom Wopat as Frank Abagnale Sr, Norbert Leo Butz as Carl Hanratty, Kerry Butler as Brenda, and Karen Olivo as Cheryl Ann, as well as Autumn Hurlbert and Lauren Zakrin of the 'Search for the Next Elle Woods' show in the ensemble.

Does anyone have any more information about how this latest reading went and/or who else was in the cast?
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Yes, does anybody know? The score, as heard in the demo, is fabulous.
"It does what a musical is supposed to do; it takes you to another world. And it gives you a little tune to carry in your head. Something to take you away from the dreary horrors of the real world. A little something for when you're feeling blue. You know?"

Norbert!

Wow!
What great casting.
If I were to choose anyone to replace Nathan Lane, it would probably be him. As a matter of fact, I think I like him more in that role than I do Nathan. (However, I don't know how well that role will be musicalized- but knowing Shaiman & Wittman, they should do it very well.)

I do think that Norbert is slightly more well-suited to the role, but I think there is an age issue. Same goes for Kerry Butler. However, I love the Olivo casting.

Well according to a friend (I know, I know, just bear with me) Norbert is without a doubt attached to the show but the only issue is getting money. (isn't it always?)

The caption on the facebook photo of Norbert (with Seth Rudetsky) says: Norbert Leo Butz- (rigth) has been in shows such as rent, last five years, wicked, dirty rotten scoundrels, and if they get enough money he will be in a new original show called cath me if you can!

Granted, this is on facebook but she did meet Marc Shaiman the next day at Broadway Arts Alliance but those photos come with no information. I did get to hear Marc sing Fifty Checks in Nebraska, and I can say that I love the song and hope the rest of the score is just as good.

I agree that Kerry Butler is a tad too old for Brenda (I picture Erin Davie or Mamie Gummer being wonderful in this part). Love the idea of Karen Olivo as Cheryl Ann, I can see her doing a great job with Cheryl's song (can't remember the actual name, something about love). Wonder if Sarah Gettelfinger is still attached or if Olivo has officially replaced her.

McPhee was replaced by Tamyra Gray (another Idol), who was then replaced by Gettelfinger. Gettelfinger was in a previous reading of it.

Anyone know if Louise Pitre is still the mom? I LOVE her.

Does this mean Nathan isn't doing it? He may be doing The Addams Family.

There have been so many readings with various cast members, it's hard to keep up.
