Tough question here. Started our short trip Wednesday with Heisenberg (good), then Great Comet and DEH (both awesome). How do I top this for our last show tonight? Seen many of the long running and this year's shows. Others here mentioned Ride the Cyclone but I've read mixed reviews. I was thinking Falsettos. And a playgoer last night spoke highly of Tick Tick Boom. Any last minute recommendations appreciated.
Have you seen The Color Purple yet? Erivo's performance tops everything ever.
Yes BC. Saw Purple - and Fiddler last summer.

Frankly, nothing can beat DEH or Great Comet, but these will be very enjoyable and pleasant.

Falsettos or Tick Tick Boom would be good choices.
If you haven't already seen them, School of Rock or The Color Purple. If you want something from this season, Falsettos.

Oh, Hello might not necessarily be "better" than DEH or Comet, but it's a hilarious comedy, which might be a nice change from so many serious shows.

Oh, I definitely, definitely second this.
I went in knowing virtually nothing about Oh, Hello and had a total blast. It's nothing more than extreme silliness, but Kroll and Mulaney are so much fun to watch. I was totally surprised at how much fun I had.

I don't think you can top those. You could go the other direction and see something truly hideous - Alligator.

Had a lot of fun at both A Bronx Tale and Oh , hello. Although both are very different.
If it's not too inconvenient (and if they have tickets available), I'd highly recommend The Band's Visit at the Atlantic, especially since it won't be around whenever you make a return trip to NYC.
